After the great success of Bud Wars 1, we teamed up with BU2R projects and the BudSide dance school to create an even better Bud Wars 2.

Press release: On April 18, 2015, the second edition of this dance event will take place at Gerbera in České Budějovice, organized by BU2R, SANY and BUDSIDE dance school. The event is open not only to dancers but also to the general public, offering a chance to discover and experience various dance styles. Expect a full day of workshops, battles, discussions, screenings, and an awesome party to end the day!

Program: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Workshops (Street Dance and Break Dance)

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Lecture: The Birth of Hip Hop

2:00 PM – 3:50 PM – Street Dance Battle (All Style) 3vs3

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Break Dance Battle (Crew vs Crew)

6:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Finals of the Dance Battles

Prizes: 1st Place Street Dance (All Style) – 6,000 CZK,  1st Place Break Dance – 9,000 CZK, 2nd Place Street Dance – 2,000 CZK, 2nd Place Break Dance – 2,000 CZK, 3rd Place Street Dance – 1,000 CZK, 3rd Place Break Dance – 1,000 CZK. Additional prizes from BU2R, Budvar beer, and other cool giveaways! DJ BoruuF (Liberec) will keep the music flowing throughout the day, and the event will be hosted by Lil Pablo(Bratislava), who has experience hosting international competitions! After the battles, we’ll kick off a big party! Enjoy great music and dancing until the early morning, powered by DJ Ramel. Entry to the full day program of BUD WARS II is FREE. If you come during the day, you’ll get a wristband that grants you free access to the evening party as well. Feel free to come and go throughout the day.
