In the summer of 2024, I participated in a summer art camp for the second time. The camp included various workshops, such as music, photography, and street art. I led the workshop focused on street art. The camp lasted five days, which gave us plenty of time to fully immerse ourselves in the activities.
I started by introducing the children to the history of graffiti and street art. Then we tried out various techniques – from drawing with pencils and markers to spraying letters on foil, both in the city and in nature. The children also had the chance to create street art stencils and spray on canvas.
During the camp, I practiced my German while the children improved their English. Together, we managed everything wonderfully. I was greatly supported by my assistant, Robert from Berlin, who actively contributed to the preparation and execution of our workshop.
